It only took a day and Elisha now loves his slippers and gum boots. He can be found wearing one or the other at most times now.
Did I tell you about Elisha’s pet cricket. No, I don’t think I did. There was a cricket in our bathroom, and Elisha adopted it as his pet. He visited it constantly, talked to it, watched it, tried to make it jump, and showed everyone and anyone who would go with him. It’s come and gone a few times but at the moment it is just plain gone. He still talks about it though. A funny thing about this is that my brother and his family were over yesterday and apparently Nicholas has a pet cricket at the moment too.
I am making a bit more of an effort to get on here and put stuff down, otherwise there are going to be big holes in stuff when I go to do scrapbooking later.
Elisha’s last swimming lesson for this term today. I think he’s going to miss it for two weeks. Perhaps we’ll just have to take him out for a swim somewhere. The poor boy, we don’t even have a bath at home.
I’m sure there was more I wanted to say, but it seems to have eluded me.
