In the morning we went and visited Oma. Got a few photos. Just so glad that she has been able to meet Cayley. And I hope that Elisha might be able to remember her just the tiniest little bit. So hard to believe that just under three years ago she flew over here to witness his baptism.
In the afternoon we went back to Ricketts Point. We left Cayley with my mum and Nanna. We walked all the way out on the exposed rock as far as we could, exploring as we went. About the time that we made it all the way out to the end mum phoned to say that Cayley was not settling so we had to head back. About the same time we realised that the tide was now heading in, and may have been for a while. Ummm yes, the tide HAD been coming in for a while. When we got back to the shoreline we discovered that we were now cut off. So shoes and socks were removed, pants rolled up, Elisha hoisted into Daddy’s arms and through the water we went. Whoops. Will have to remember that one for next time.
