Still Going Strong

Making an effort to take photos and blog every day.  Took photos of a few different things over the last couple of days.

First, today.

Was feeling a bit peckish absolutely ravenous this afternoon, and we had nothing in the house that appealed to my appetite. I pulled out all the recipe books that I though might have something in them that would fill the spot.  But alas, there was nothing.

Then I remembered a nugget I had stashed away.

A recipe that Tim J. gave me years ago for a super quick, very delish brownie.

10 minutes after digging out the recipe…

Should I share do you think?

  • 100g melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 Cup plain flour
  • 1/2 Cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Mix all ingredients

Microwave 5-7 minutes (though I think today’s brownie could have done with a teensy bit less, I like soft and chewy!)

I sifted a bit of icing sugar over the top for asthetics, but you don’t have to.

Later on in the day all of the children were awake and on the bed, so I tried to have a bit of an impromptu photo shoot.

Here’s the best of a not very good lot.

And one, just because I thought it was funny…

… what is that growing out of his head anyway?!

And a photo from yesterday that I just adore.

And The Rest

So, would you like to know what the rest of the family thinks of Jos?

Brett is one very proud Daddy (and now that we’re home, tired too!)

Elisha, well Elisha seemed to mature and grown up almost overnight.  Yes, there’s been a definite change.

Point in proof…

And Cayley, I think the word would be…

… smitten

ps Please excuse poor photo quality, I just had to share all the gorgeous expressions on her face.

Yes, everyone loves little Jos.  In fact I’ve been finding it a bit hard to get photos of him, I’m too scared to put him down.  You know you can hurt someone even when you love them.  😉

Behind the Photo

Remember this, from a whole day ago?

There’s more to this photo than meets the eye.

This is what happens when your parents don’t find out if you’re a boy or a girl, and you are a boy, and your last sibling was a girl and it’s the middle of the night and you need something clean to wear.

And a clean wrap.

Some cars and trucks and such just to remind he IS in fact a BOY.

And then we’ve got the classic ‘What percentage of the bed is he?’ photo for your enjoyment.

Holy belated newsflash Batman!

Big news in the Adams household last week. Elisha received a ‘no mess’ Batman paint-with-water kit.

And on a relatively minor note, he also became the big brother of Jos Fletcher, extracted 8.20 Tuesday morning, and weighing 3.830 kilos (exactly) or 8 pounds 7 for the anachronists.*

Mum and bub are now home, and plans are being formed for the defense of Jos from the onslaught of affection.

* The relative significance of these events is based on reports received by one Elisha Adams, and do not necessarily reflect the values of the BloggedIssue corporation.
