And here are a couple of cards I’ve made with a couple of new stamp sets.
I stamped the image onto whisper white, coloured it using inkpads and an aqua painter. I then punched the image out as a circle and highlighted the edges by sponging with pink ink. Matted the image with a scallop circle and pierced holes in each scallop. Layered up the base cards, piercing the edges of the black, laid down the two pink strips and the image piece on top of these.
Products used in this card:
Stamp set: Window Dressing (Level 3 Hostess)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Black Stazon for stamping the image, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Going Grey, Bashful Blue and Basic Black for colouring.
Accessories: Trimmer, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Aqua Painter, Snail Adhesive, Paper Piercer and Mat Pack from the Crafters’ Tool Kit
To create this card I stamped the image and the sentiment onto Kraft cardstock and trimmed around, leaving extra width on the right side of the image for scalloping using the Scallop Edge Punch. I coloured the image using an Aqua Painter and the Stampin’ Pastels. I rounded the corners of all the pieces and also used the Scallop Edge Punch on a piece of black cardstock, lined it up with the image piece of Kraft cardstock and trimmed it down. The sentiment was layered onto Real Red card and a small piece of Basic Black on the bottom right corner. The base card is Basic Black, then Real Red, then Kraft.
